Matt, Owner/Builder
Matt started playing the guitar when his parents purchased a Harmony electric for him in 1983. After a few years of playing the Harmony 6 string, he switched over to the bass. From the late 80’s to mid-90’s, he was the bassist for a few local punk bands. After starting a career and a family, the bass was put away until his youngest son wanted to start playing the guitar when he was 10. What started as a father and son project of piecing together a B.C. Rich Warlock, then a Jackson Rhoads V, turned into an idea his younger son had--to create their own line of guitars geared towards the Heavy Metal / Thrash Metal scene. Now it's a father and both of his sons using their talents to provide something new to the industry...Roser Guitars.
Brandon, Guitar Designer
Brandon showed interest in playing the guitar and his father purchased a beginner Strat Style guitar for him and enrolled him in lessons. His father also dusted off his old bass and began playing with Brandon in the evenings, teaching him some of the punk songs his band used to play as well as others from his era. Brandon and his father first pieced together a B.C. Rich Warlock from parts found on eBay and then a Jackson Rhoads V. This gave him the idea: to refurbish used guitars, giving those new paint jobs and upgraded parts and resell them. Over a short period, this gave him another idea: to make their own line of guitars. Brandon came up with the name of Roser, named after his Great Grandfather who had a love of woodworking and made many things over his life. With a blank piece of wood and a pencil, the first Roser guitar was laid out for cutting and routing. He is now the designer of most of Roser’s line and provides his input on the builds and tests the guitars before they are on display at a show or boxed up to ship out to a customer.
Zach, Marketing & Graphics Designer
Zach, while having an interest in music and experience with playing an instrument and singing, has never shared the same interest for playing guitar as his father and brother; however, as he enjoys experimenting with art and graphic design, he hopes to apply these in order to make a useful contribution to Roser Guitars.
